Job Title: Math Lecturer, GFP
Responsible to: Director of General Foundation Programme
Hours: Full-time; flexible as needed for the role
Location: Muscat, Oman (local travel may be required)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Deliver undergraduate/postgraduate level lessons in specialized areas.
• Monitor and provide timely feedback on students’ academic progress.
• Cater to diverse learner levels, facilitating transformative learning experiences.
• Maintain office hours and serve as an academic advisor.
• Lead tutorials and offer effective support to students.
• Participate in course development and program reviews.
• Engage in professional learning activities and support organizational learning.
• Adhere to Muscat University’s policies and regulations.
• Demonstrate academic excellence and align with the University’s vision, mission, and core values.
• Liaise effectively with senior leadership, Director of the Foundation Year Programme, team members, and academic staff.
• Attend to additional duties as assigned by the Director of the General Foundation Programme.

Qualifications:

• BA/MA in a relevant discipline.

Experience:

• Teaching experience with undergraduate/postgraduate and foundation-level students.
