Intern – Digital Marketing & Content

Overview:

Join our team as a Digital Marketing & Content Intern and immerse yourself in the dynamic world of e-retailers. This internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of customized marketing plans, enhancing brand visibility on e-retailers’ platforms while adhering to budget guidelines. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in analyzing campaign performance, e-retailers’ metrics, and brand sales performance.

Responsibilities:

DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders to create a monthly marketing plan customized for each e-retailer.
  • Develop frameworks for fiscal year media investments based on planned targets.
  • Understand e-retailers’ creative requirements to plan and propose campaign proposals for brands.
  • Evaluate media proposals from e-retailers for events/marketing campaigns, providing recommendations to optimize sales ROI and increase traffic for participating brands.
  • Create clear and comprehensive briefs for the design agency to produce relevant digital assets based on e-retailers’ creative requirements for the campaign.
  • Collaborate with the media agency, when required, to purchase media assets on e-retailers’ platforms following brand guidelines.
  • Generate benchmark analyses and negotiate with e-retailers’ marketing teams on the cost of various media assets on behalf of brands for running campaigns on e-retailers’ platforms.
  • Ensure all planned initiatives are executed by the e-retailer as per the agreement.
  • Coordinate and negotiate costs with e-retailers for successful sampling programs for brands.
  • Create and share campaign close-out reports with relevant stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for future optimization.

ANALYTICS

  • Create and manage an e-commerce dashboard to monitor key business metrics for the channel and brands.
  • Issue monthly reports analyzing channel performance across e-retailers, brands, and SKUs, highlighting specific insights for planning future sales campaigns.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses on customers and brands in collaboration with sales executives to identify opportunities for improved overall sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (Marketing, Business, or related field).
  • Strong interest in digital marketing, e-commerce, and analytics.
  • Basic understanding of e-retailers’ platforms and digital marketing concepts.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world projects.
