Purpose of the Job:
The Dynamo 2 Performance Coach is responsible for leading the strength and conditioning program for Dynamo 2 players, ensuring optimal performance. The role involves designing and implementing age-appropriate programs for player development and off-season planning for teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and assess strength and conditioning programs for Dynamo 2 teams.
  • Design age-appropriate movement skill sessions to enhance player performance.
  • Conduct pre-training warmup activation and injury prevention sessions.
  • Analyze GPS data for designated teams and collect subjective data using the club’s Athlete Management System.
  • Create individual corrective exercises based on test results and maintain athlete records.
  • Assist in designing testing protocols for long-term athletic development.
  • Collaborate with Academy coaches on training planning.
  • Support the First Team performance staff when needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field (required); Master’s degree (preferred).
  • 2-3 years’ experience working with elite athletes, preferably in soccer.
  • Prior coaching experience in professional, collegiate, or academy-level soccer (required).
  • Proficiency in sports science technology.
  • Knowledge of nutritional requirements for athletes (preferred).
  • NSCA CSCS or CPT and/or NASM PES Certifications (preferred).
  • CPR/AED Certification.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) (preferred).
  • Ability to work long hours, holidays, weekends, and travel extensively for away games.
