Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with a designated group of seniors and their families.
  • Provide assistance with daily activities, respond to individual care needs, and understand their unique preferences and personalities.
  • Notify management of any changes in residents’ conditions and recommend appropriate care adjustments.
  • Participate in creating and updating Individualized Service Plans (ISP) for residents.
  • Maintain responsibility for designated residents throughout the shift, ensuring their whereabouts and conducting physical checks.
  • Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote risk management policies.
  • Respond to residents’ dining needs while upholding Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
  • Assist residents in life skills and enriching activities, aligning with their individual profiles and ISP.
  • Commit to serving residents and guests through the Sunrise Principles of Service.

Qualifications:

  • Dedication and passion for serving seniors, coupled with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility in performing various duties, and adeptness in a team environment are crucial for success.
  • High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required based on state regulations.
  • Maintenance of certifications as applicable in respective states.
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Preferred previous experience working with seniors.
  • Ability to make decisions in residents’ best interests and possess effective communication skills.
  • Competence in organizational, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
