- Planning and Leadership: Oversee and lead the overall operations of the assisted living neighborhood in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and Sunrise Senior Living standards.

- Compliance and Safety: Ensure the community adheres to federal, state, and local regulations concerning resident care. Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Financial Management: Assist the executive director in completing the annual community budget. Manage the department budget, including labor and other expenses, impacting the community’s financial performance.
- Meetings and Collaboration: Attend and actively participate in various meetings as directed by the Executive Director, such as Stand Up, Cross Over, Department Head Meetings, Town Hall, and Quality Improvement sessions.
